SURFATRON INTERSEAL

Description : Surfatron Interseal is an integral crystallization waterproofing system by admixture, a single component cement based waterproofing material which is specially blended for concrete application. The active chemical of Surfatron Interseal will form crystals within the matrix capillary system of the concrete and form a permanent protection against water and become an integral part of the structure. Uses : • Basement walls and floor • Drinking Water Reservoir • Sewage Water Treatment Tanks • Swimming pools • Toilet • Foundations • Tunnels • Base slabs • Lift Pit • Elevator Shafts Advantages : • Surfatron Interseal resist to high hydrostatic pressure. • As cement based capillary waterproofing system, Surfatron Interseal will form a permanent crystal in the capillaries thus will give the additional value to the structure itself. • Surface damage will not affect the waterproofing properties, therefore no protection needed as other types of waterproofing. • Easy to apply, simply add to concrete and mix. • Time saving. • Resist to salt, acid and chemical. • Easy to identify and spot treatment for the areas leak caused by structural failure. • Economical Consumption : The normal dosage rate should be 0, 8% by weight of cement Mixing: Surfatron Interseal must be added to the concrete at the time of batching. The sequences of procedures of each batching plant will vary. Below is the typical mixing guideline : Site Mix Operation: Take Surfatron Interseal powder and put it in container, add water ( 1, 2 kgs water for 1kg of Surfatron Interseal ) and mix to form a thin slurry, mixing time approximately 2-3 minutes, then pour the mixing into the drum of the ready-mix truck that contain aggregate, cement and water which mixed in the plant in accordance with standard practices. Drive the truck and mix for at least 5 minutes to ensure even distribution of the Surfatron Interseal throughout the concrete. Curing and prrotection : Standard concrete curing praticing to be follow and no protection is needed. Health and safety : Surfatron Interseal is harmless when used appropriately. Prevent contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale dust. If contact with eyes, wash immediately with clean water.
