SURFATRON

Description : Surfatron crystalline capillary waterproofing system is single component cement based waterproofing, which is specially blended from portland cements, quartz aggregate and active chemical for concrete application. The active chemicals of Surfatron penetrate deep into concrete and reacts chemically with free lime to form permanent insoluble crystal within the capillary. The crystal formed reduces the porosity by blocking capillaries and filling hairline non-structural cracks. Surfatron can be applied on the active or passive side of the concrete structure. The crystal formed, become an integral part to the structure. Uses : Surfatron is used to seal concrete structure against water from active or passive side even under pressure. as concrete waterproofing, Surfatron can be used as filling cracks, sealing joint and active leaks. Application Direction : By Brush Coating Substrate preparation : Make sure the substrate is sound and clean, free of dirt, oil etc. Remove all dirt, oil, laitance and other contaminants by water blasting. All surface to be treated should be roughens.All structural failure such as honeycombs or large cracks must be treated by grouting and injection. All joint are treated using epoxy mortar. Before application, all surface to be treated shall be wetted with clean water. Application : Mix 3 parts Surfatron with 1 part water, apply two coats at 0.5 kg to 0.75 kg/ m2 per coat with masonry brush then apply the second coat while the first coat is still green. Dry – shake : Take 1.5 Kg of Surfatron powder then sprinkled onto the top of freshly laid concrete slab and trowell. If floorhardener is required, it can directly sprinkle onto the freshly concrete slab after application of Surfatron then trowell finish. Surfatron also can be sprinkled onto lean concrete before casting of the concrete floor Clean up: As cement based waterproofing material, Surfatron is easy to be cleaned from all tools with clean water. Curing and prrotection : It is recommended for exposed treated area to be cured for 5 days by regular wetting to allow the proper reaction. It should be protected from direct sunlight, frost, rain and wind. Health and safety : Surfatron is harmless when used appropriately. Prevent contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale dust. If contact with eyes, wash immediately with clean water.
